10th Annual CORE4 STEM Family Day

St. Philip’s 大学 to host 10th Annual CORE4 STEM Family Day in partnership with the 圣安东尼奥 Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

St. Philip’s 大学 will host the 10th Annual CORE4 STEM Expo Family Day in partnership with the 圣安东尼奥 Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on 11月 9, 2019, at the SPC 灵魂般的校园: 1801 Martin Luther King Drive. This educational event provides information on career opportunities and pathways in STEM (science, 技术, engineering and mathematics). CORE4’s mission is to stimulate students’ interest in the sciences and lead them to discover their potential in these areas. 

CORE4 STEM Family Day brings youth, 父母, college students and educators together to experience hands-on STEM workshops, 示威活动, 展品, informational booths and other STEM-related activities. St. Philip’s 大学 is also providing fun activities for the entire family to engage in, including an inflatable for the younger children. The event will include remarks from St. Philip’s 大学 President Dr. Adena Williams Loston and keynote speaker Richard Loveland, Principal of Cooper Academy.

Workshops include Learning in Virtual Reality, 网络安全, Synthetic Biology and Be A Forensic Scientist. For a full list of workshops 点击这里.
